If you’re really into high-concept fashion and you hate the lower half of your face, then Gareth Pugh’s fall-winter 2014 collection will be ideal for you.

The experimental London-based designer, the latest offbeat arbiter of fashion-as-performance-piece, has held onto some of his signatures (experimentation with form and volume, most notably), but he’s relinquished last season’s bright colors and his traded his more traditional gothic palette for shades of white. Notable looks included draped furs, sort of industrial plastic details, fluttering square paillettes, and two dresses that look like they’re made out of really high-quality shower curtains.
