FIERTH: What is your name?
ISIS: My birth name is Adolfo Fontan III
FIERTH: Do you have a nick-name?
ISIS: My Drag Name and Club Persona is Isis Vermouth
FIERTH: Where are you based , where do you call home ?
ISIS: Upstate New York is my home but I actually live in Poughkeepsie.
FIERTH: How tall are you?
ISIS: I’m as tall as I want to be but without heels 5’10”
FIERTH: What is your motto?
ISIS: Only boring people get bored!!!
FIERTH: How do you describe your work?
ISIS: I’m a jack of all trades. I do advertising and graphic design promotions for various clubs in the New England area. I curate all sorts of events. I also work as a Make Up Artist but these days I’ve been doing more Shows in Drag than anything else.
FIERTH: What about your work frustrates you ?
ISIS: I used to enjoy being the behind the scenes kind of guy but I just couldn’t find a reliable face for my events and parties so I created Isis Vermouth. Being two people and having all the responsibilities of both is very frustrating.
FIERTH: What accomplishment are you most proud of ?
ISIS: I enjoy donating my time for various organizations. Every year I do an event in Vermont called Winter is a Drag Ball. We’ve raised over 30k for the Aids Coalition of Vermont so that people have the ability to get their meds and all sorts of health related services. 90% of the events I create have an organization we donate too.
FIERTH: What do you like most about what you do?
ISIS: I like making people smile but don’t get it twisted I really like making people feel uncomfortable in their own skin. I think it’s important to think outside the box every now and again because we all have our own realities. It’s important to try on someone else’s shoes for just a minute. I like to take people there with the performance and productions I put together with all my friends.
FIERTH: How do you keep it real?
ISIS: I guess I try not to think about it. You should be yourself 100% of the time because the people who are going to love you for being yourself can find you faster and easier. If you’re not having fun you’re doing it wrong.
FIERTH: What is the secret to success ?
ISIS: Everyone can lip sync to a song but what is going to make you own it. No one is going to hire a Queen who does the same thing the next one is going to do! I think the key to success is creating something that no one else is going to have the guts to do nor the creativity to think it up.
FIERTH: If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
ISIS: Back Flips, Splits, things like that. I was in a Car accident and it ruined my chances of ever being flexible. I’ve been training so hopefully in the near future.
FIERTH: What exactly are you wearing right now?
ISIS: I’m wearing a psychedelic pajama top and bottom! It’s Daylight out. I’m still in bed. Let’s get real!! I’m Nocturnal.

FIERTH: What motivates you in life?
ISIS: The fact that there are kids in this world that don’t feel like they belong motivates me to keep being a weirdo so they know that they’re somewhat normal. Everyone has a place in this world. If you’ve ever thought something chances are there are 1,000 other you’s out there just waiting to find you.
FIERTH: If you weren’t doing what you are doing now, what do you think you would be doing?
ISIS: I went to school for cosmetology and I’ve worked on so many productions over the years Operas, Fashion Shows, Photoshoots for MTV, VH1, and all of those horrible companies that always want you to work for free. If Drag didn’t pay my bills the way it has been lately I’d most likely be working in a Salon.
FIERTH: Have you ever felt hopeless? How did you get through it?
ISIS: I have an amazing support group of friends and I think that’s what’s most important. I know I can reach out to them. They’re such an eclectic and colorful bunch that I couldn’t imagine a problem we couldn’t solve together.
FIERTH: If someone wrote a biography on your life , what do you think the title should be?
ISIS: Actively Decaying. We are all working towards death and it’s healthy to realize that. It pushes me every day to create something that will live forever because I am well aware that I won’t.
FIERTH: How would your best friend describe you?
ISIS: On the outside absolutely bat shit crazy but on the inside a man with a plan.
FIERTH: What are some qualities you value in your friends ?
ISIS: The ability to turn frowns upside down. To make a drab evening into a blast with just confetti and sunglasses. Always encouraging smiles and words of wisdom.
FIERTH: List 5 quirky things about yourself.
ISIS: I’m a witch, I can change my voice to anything, I read the label of EVERYTHING, I can turn anything into a joke, Every thing in moderation including moderation!
FIERTH: What were you like as a child?
ISIS: I was a total nerd and very shy but I loved monster make up. Never in a Million years did I think I would be doing what I’m doing now!
FIERTH: Where did you grow up ?
ISIS: I grew up in the Hudson Valley of NY, Kingston, Woodstock, Saugerties.
FIERTH: What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
ISIS: I would just save all my money and help my self to a bus trip to all sorts of places. I’d go to Atlanta for a few days or NYC and all the while my mom thought I was at my friends house down the road. I would just find other kids who had the same interests as me on the internet and stay with them. We’d pretend we went to school together but really I’d be states away and my parents would have no idea. I don’t even think my parents realized where I was to this day. They just know I’d go missing.
FIERTH: My generation was …
ISIS: The last generation who understands patience! When something was broken we’d fix it. When we wanted to watch something on TV we had to wait for it.
FIERTH: The kids today …
ISIS: Just throw things away when they’re broken and get a new one. They also have no social skills and rely too much on technology to perform the simplest of tasks. Everyone’s a know it all but no one learns anything. Thanks Google!
FIERTH: What makes you angry ?
ISIS: People who slut around and then complain about not finding love. You can’t expect someone to want you when they’ve already had you!
FIERTH: What brings you the most joy?
ISIS: Dancing, Smiling, just going places and experiencing new things.

FIERTH: Write a brief story about an actual accidental adventure you’ve had.
ISIS: I was on my way to Atlanta in a car full of people when our tire broke. Some crazy punk kids drove me and my friends around looking for a spare. Took us hours and we never found one. Then when we got back to the car and had to call our parents my Mom found a spare in the trunk. Total FAIL.
FIERTH: What’s the strangest thing you’ve done this month?
ISIS: I dressed up as a Unicorn and ran around NYC. I was at WestGay and Le Souk. I couldn’t see or hear a thing in the mask and it was fun to see who I was posing with in pictures when they surfaced on the internet!!!
FIERTH: What’s something about yourself that no one knows?
ISIS: I’ll be 31 years old May 3rd. There I said it.
FIERTH: Ever had a rumor spread about you?
ISIS: I love to spread my own rumors to see how long it takes to get back to me! Honestly I think it’s none of my business what other people think about me. As long as people keep talking. It’s when they stop talking that you have to worry.
FIERTH: Describe a time when you made the best of a public gaffe.
ISIS: I still feel bad about it actually. I made a joking remark about someone’s hormone therapy and that person took it quite personal. I’m just constantly surrounded by transexuals upstate and we kiki and I took it a little too far with someone I barely know. I apologized since and now bite my tongue these days when joking about that subject. Being comfortable in your own skin is a hard feet especially when you’re transitioning and people should be more sensitive to that!
FIERTH: What is the worst advice you have ever gotten ?
ISIS: My Step Father always gave the worst advice and I wish I had more support growing up. He always told me to stop dressing up like a freak or I’d never get a job or make any money in my life. Well thankfully I never listened to him. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been and all my bills and things are quite taken care of!!! If you do something you love eventually someone will pay you to do it!!!
FIERTH: Are you a morning or night person ?
ISIS: Depends on your idea of what is morning and what is night. I love the time after midnight. Some people consider it night some people consider it morning. I’ve been labeled as a Dirty Filthy Stay Out.
FIERTH: What were you doing last night at Midnight?
ISIS: I was at Demanda Dahlings plotting what we’ll do doing this Monday. We’ll be at that club with the rooster sign out front THE COCK. ONLY because PHDJ will be spinning and I can’t stop dancing when he DJs!!! Seth Clark Silberman is my fave!! No but truthfully I was selling some acid to some Transexuals in a Motel Parking lot. What… Don’t Judge me!
FIERTH: What do you daydream about?
ISIS: Owning my own Island and having all my friends come live there with me… Fantasy Island we’ll call it… and we’ll have the best parties!!
FIERTH: What do you think is the meaning of life ?
ISIS: To live like yesterday never happened and there will be no tomorrow.
FIERTH: What is your beauty secret ?
ISIS: Sperm. Just a dab under the eyes really gives you a nice lift, If they’re under 21 then it works the best!!!
FIERTH: What would be the introduction song to a movie based on your life ?
ISIS: Osker – Kinetic http://youtu.be/bdzvFW6pWlk
FIERTH: Describe your home in 6 words or less.
ISIS: HUGE! CHEAP! FABULOUS! CONVENIENT! GLITTERY! RELAXING!!
FIERTH: Do you collect anything? If so, what?
ISIS: Wigs. I have too many. Someone come take some from me!!!
FIERTH: Do you have any obsessions right now?
ISIS: Dumpster Diving!! I do it all the time but after Halloween is the best. I go to all these pop up Halloween Stores and they get all this crap from China so It’s just cheaper for them to throw EVERYTHING away instead of returning them. Yay America! I got 30 new wigs this past Halloween!!!
FIERTH: What’s the weirdest item you’ve ever mourned losing?
ISIS: A pink Jesus Dildo. I had gotten it for Shealita Babay and someone STOLE IT!!!
FIERTH: What is your greatest extravagance?
ISIS: HEELS!!! I can’t stop buying them! When I go on tour in Florida I go to EVERY Charlotte Ruse and now I have heels in almost EVERY COLOR!! Help!
FIERTH: What is your guilty pleasure?
ISIS: Ice Cream. Ugh. Now I need to go get some out of the freezer. I’ll never fit into my new dress!
FIERTH: If you could buy anything regardless of cost, what would you buy?
ISIS: I would love a fem skin! Have you seen those? They’re a full Silicone body suit you lube yourself up and slide into it!! It has a vagina and boobs and EVERYTHING!!!
FIERTH: What is your “ Safety Word”?
ISIS: Are you calling me a bottom? I actually don’t have one. Everyone else around me does though!!
FIERTH: You can trade places with any other person, living or dead, for 24 hours. Who would you choose and why?
ISIS: Is it weird I would choose someone less fortunate than myself? So they could be me. I’ve always wondered what it would be like to be that homeless person on the street. Even as a child I imagined it to be exciting but now being grown I just see suffering.
FIERTH: Who are your main inspirations?
ISIS: My Drag Mother Lady Esther Gin really made me want to be who I am today… but it’s the crazy antics of Lady Bunny that has inspired me. I don’t know if she’s actually crazy or a total genius.
FIERTH: Who do you have your eye on right now ?
ISIS: I am quite obsessed with Juliana Huxtable. I need to have her DJ one of my events before she’s too expensive!!! If you haven’t heard her spin get out of your house!! Get to WestGay or the Cock and feel it!!!
FIERTH: Which stars, if any, leave you star struck?
ISIS: Although I see her all the time. I am constantly mesmerized by Amanda Lepore. In my eyes She’s the only star I see. Day after day. I NEVER see her in the same outfit. How can anyone do that? I’m Struck!
FIERTH: Whom do you despise?
ISIS: These days… I hate these reality celebs. I think if you want some reality you should just get out of your house and go get some reality. It’s right out there waiting for you. Truthfully these people need a reality check… too bad it’ll bounce! You now have an army of “Famous” people with NO MONEY!!!
FIERTH: Which celebrity do you suspect is actually a hologram?
ISIS: If I was to choose one it would be Beyonce. Has to be. I don’t even have to explain. You know what I’m talking about.
FIERTH: What’s the sweetest thing anyone’s ever done for you?
ISIS: My Husbear, It’s endless really and anyone who knows me knows. He just always supports my ideas and concepts and never lets me down. Just always being there is the sweetest thing really.
FIERTH: Do you believe in karma?
ISIS: Karma is real. It’s simple. You get what you give. If you don’t give you don’t get and it’s almost instant these days. With social media if you’ve wronged someone you’re instantly going to feel the effects!!!
FIERTH: Which causes do you believe in the most in, and why?
ISIS: Environmental and Green energy. Why are we still paying for energy when the sun gives us all we need for FREE!!! Wake up people!!!
FIERTH: If you could choose a superhero power, What would it be, And how would you use it.
ISIS: I already have a super power!! I’m a shape shifting Succubus!! I use it on stage and in the crowd. I turn into all sorts of things and I just steal little bits of your energy!!!
FIERTH: What are you going to do next?
ISIS: I plan on opening my own club. If I get onto Rupauls Drag Race the Possibilities are endless.
FIERTH: Leave us a quote to carry on with :
ISIS: It’s Trendy to be Trendy, and It’s Trendy NOT to be Trendy. So stop trying and just be your self.
