Born October 30, 1896, the late, legendary actress & writer Ruth Gordon would be 115 years old today. Most famous for roles in the films Rosemary’s Baby (for which she won the 1968 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress) and Harold and Maude (she was a cougar way before it was cool), she was also known to television audiences from her appearances on the sitcoms Rhoda and Taxi, which nabbed her an Emmy Award for her hilarious guest appearance as ‘Sugar Mama’.
