Musto:             I told my cousin that a girl at school hated her. After that, both my cousin and the girl at school cut me off.

Musto:             Dead

Musto:             Getting turned on to Diana Ross for the first time

Musto:             “He Did It The Hard Way”

Musto:             There is no meaning, but you have to pretend there is.

Musto:             Celebrity memoirs.

Musto:             Dick Van Dyke‘s memoirs

Fierth:            What’s the weirdest item you’ve ever mourned losing?

Musto:             I lost five cell phones in one year once. It was so painful.

Fierth:           If you could buy anything regardless of cost, what would you buy?

Musto:             The entire Liz Taylor collection.

Fierth:           What is your guilty pleasure?

Musto:             My whole life.

Fierth:           What is your greatest extravagance?

Musto:             I tip well.

Fierth:           Where is your favorite place to lunch?

Musto:             Reservoir Cafe

Fierth:            What is your favorite dessert ?

Musto:             Apple pie a la mode

Fierth:            What makes you angry ?

Musto:             Lies, trickery, and ineptitude

Fierth:            Have you ever felt hopeless? How did you get through it?

Musto:            Yes. Lots of support and a little Neurontin.

Fierth:             Which places have you traveled to that you feel had changed your perspective of the world ?

Musto:            Iceland, Russia, Thailand —all eye opening.  Also theHamptons!

Fierth:           What’s the sweetest thing anyone’s ever done for you?

Musto:             Read my work.

Fierth:            Do you believe in karma?

Musto:             Karma doesn’t work, unfortunately. Lots of horrible people are still around and doing fine.

Fierth:            How about reincarnation ?

Musto:             I don’t believe in it. Everyone that does says they used to be Cleopatra. No one was ever a chambermaid. How can everyone on earth have been Cleopatra?

Fierth:          You can trade places with any other person, living or dead, for 24 hours. Who would you choose and why?

Musto:              Obama. To taste power and realize it’s not all that.

Musto:             I start thinking about Oscar nominations. Then I shower, look at email, and make coffee.

Musto:             Both

Musto:             That same friend. Might be our last conversation.

Musto:             Paid to see a movie.

Fierth:            My generation was …

Musto:            Not superficial.

Fierth:           The kids today …

Musto:            Are the best ever. They have access to way more info that my generation ever did.

Musto:             Yes. That I was hit by a car. It actually helped my career and love life.
