The Saint At Large MAY DAY Bash

Published on May 23, 2011 with No Comments

The Sunday tea dance featured music by UK remix superstars Bimbo Jones and Freemasons—who made their own British invasion the week of the royal wedding—to DJ together for the first time ever at this special event. Making it even more special was that it was the NYC debut for DJ Bimbo Jones.

Originally a pre-Christian ritual celebrating fertility and Spring, MAY DAY was the perfect follow-up to the previous Saint At Large event, Rites XXXII: The Black® Party (March 19), held annually on the Vernal Equinox. It was also the anniversary of the 1988 closing of The Saint At Large namesake nightclub, The Saint.
