Just days before the Chanel Haute Couture show is to be presented in Paris, designer Karl Lagerfeld sat down with Hilary Alexander at the Chanel studio on Rue Cambon to find out what is inspiring him these days. From what he is wearing to what he’s reading to his favorite music (it’s British indy artist Anna Calvi) he shares his feelings on fashion, “I don’t want an intellectual image, I’m a fashion person”.
