This twin-sational duo have been a staple in the NYC Underground scene, having performed at notable hot spots including Irving Plaza, Santos Party House, Crowbar, CBGB, Roxy, Knitting Factory, Splash, to name a few. They earned notable success as former members of the underground rap sensation, DaLipstyxx. They are known to never take themselves too seriously while having fun wherever they go.

What do you do: DJ, activist, blogger, philosopher, event producer

Where are you based: NYC

1. So tell us, what is the most FIERTH thing about you?

The most FIERTH thing about me is my mental endurance and ability to be such a successful, well-loved warden to the vast number of personalities imprisoned in my head oh and the gag reflex I gave up for Lent years ago.

2. What type of art do you?

I am a total jack-of-all-trades. I have been DJ-ing for almost 8 years in NYC. I am an amateur photographer, philosopher, activist and cerebral jester.

3. What’s going on right now for you?

I have a weekly residency on Thursdays at Woody’s, between The Cock and The Urge called SODOMIGHTY- a dirty dance party in the East Village. I do a party at Nowhere Bar on the first Sunday of every month called BEETLEJUICE- a naughty night of nostalgia featuring songs from the late 80s and early 90s. Also, I’ll be in charge of the festivities on Halloween this year at Nowhere located at 14^th Street between 1st and 2nd Ave. on the East Side. I will be DJ-ing at Mykel’s Kashmir Nirvana on December 2^nd- a night of acoustic soul and R&B at Madame X. I am also debuting a new monthly party at Eastern Bloc this Sunday called KIELBASA, It’s a new kind of meat and greet for sausage lovers everywhere I am also heavily involved with The Annual Dance Parade in NYC that happens every May. http://danceparade.org for more info.

4. What’s on your plate for the rest of 2010?

I will be publishing my very first book of poetry entitled “The Something Tsunami”- a collection of prose and fiction I wrote years ago that has been collecting virtual dust on my hard drive for way too long…plus I will be returning to college soon for Psychology and Social Work.

5. Who’s on your radar? Who should we be keeping an eye on?

Oh Land, my newest musical muse. She is a Danish transplant currently residing in Brooklyn who creates amazingly quirky, futuristic electro-pop somehow managing to sound timeless and retro all at the same time. If you took Emiliana Torrini, Little Boots, Suzanne Vega, The Ditty Bops and The Bird and The Bee and put them in a whirring blender, Oh Land would be the saucy spawn.

6. What is something no one knows about you?

I was the Anti-Christ but I changed my mind and decided to use my powers for good instead…oh and I’m running for President in 2016…depending on whether America still exists or not at that time…um, maybe just the fact that I skipped kindergarten and gave up being an altar boy and a cub scout because I never got molested.

7. What are some of your pet peeves?

Being pigeonholed as a Bear, selfish tops and needy bottoms, political apathy and people who never admit they’re wrong just to name a few. I can’t stand lesbians who hate men and faggots that hate women, bug chasers, coke addicts who look down upon crystal meth users, people who support Sarah Palin, those who repeat the same Halloween costume year after year after year. Oh yeah, and I hate ketchup.

8. If you could be anywhere right now doing anything with anyone, tell us where, what and with who it would be?

I would be sitting on a hill, shortly before sunset, overlooking The Castro enjoying a picnic with Tom Hardy that would eventually turn into a passionate and filthy orgy of two after the sun went down…have I said too much?

I have a few contributors as well who share their opinions and work and I also use it as a vehicle to promote my own mix sessions, original poetry, DJ gigs and other events I am affiliated with.
